Large Event Dinner Menu


We have developed some great menus to suit large events with our large event dinner menu –  Producing home-made food made with good quality local ingredients, that can be cooked in a field kitchen at any location, then plated quickly to feed large numbers at the same time. Ideal for weddings, anniversaries and birthday celebrations.



Starters


Meat

Beef Carpaccio with artichoke salad, wholegrain mustard and pine nuts
Sussex Chicken Liver Pate with wild mushroom duxelle, wholemeal cumin toast and fresh herb salad
Pistachio Rolled Potted Ham Hock and Chicken with fresh tangy piccalilli

Fish

Smoked Mackerel Pate with blood orange and tomato salsa
Smoked Salmon Rillettes with toasted bread and lemon dressed salad leaves

Vegetarian

Roasted Tomato Soup with fresh basil and garlic and black pepper croutons
Mediterranean Meze with houmous and baba ganoush dips, sundried tomatoes, olives, olive oil and balsamic dip and pita breads
Baby Beetroot Salad with wild leaves, baked baby beets, walnuts and crumbled goat’s cheese


Mains


Chicken

Chicken, Leek and Mushroom Pie with creamy mash, chantonnay carrots and mixed greens
Pan Fried Chicken Breast with sundried tomato and olive potato cakes, spring greens and a creamy chive sauce
Sage & Hazelnut Stuffed Chicken melted herby butter and creamy mashed potatoes with buttered greens
Chicken Breast stuffed with mozzarella and wrapped in Parma ham with a panache of seasonal vegetables

Lamb

Braised Shoulder of Lamb with roasted root vegetables and parsley mash
Moroccan Spiced Minced Lamb Kebabs with mixed leaves, cashew and lemon cous cous and minted yoghurt dip

Beef

Braised Beef Cheeks cooked in red wine, served with a creamy leek and potato mash and
garnished with crisp bacon
Beef and Ale Pie with creamy mash, chantonnay carrots and mixed greens

Sweet Belly of Pork Sussex reared pork with a honey glaze, apple puree, creamy mash, aromatic carrots and cabbage hearts

Fish

Smoked and Poached Salmon Salad with sun blushed tomatoes and mozzarella
Beer Battered Haddock with chunky hand cut chips and mushy peas
Sussex Smokey Fish Pie made with Henfield smoked fish in a white sauce with garden peas

Vegetarian

Wild Mushroom Risotto with vegetable stock and garnished with vegetarian parmesan shavings
Roasted Fresh Vegetables and Cheese Filo Strudel with a roasted tomato sauce
